Welcome back to those that were here before and welcome to the newbies that venture our way.
Today is my baby girl's birthday.... as she's said, she's no longer a teen!  Where has the time gone?

I wish her a huge Happy Birthday, and hope her 20's will be rewarding and memorable for her.
Here is a simple card I made for her.

Love ya, Meagan.

It's been awhile ...

I haven't posted on my blog in quite some time.  Not much has changed; I still work two jobs, but right now it's summer so only working the one job, and mostly evenings.  Although I had hoped to
get a lot more done around the house, I get sidetracked :)

Anywho, my dear friend, Bev Code,  http://beeceecreativity.blogspot.com/  has wrangled me into working with the DT on Turtle Soup http://www.turtlesoup.scrappingturtle.com/index.  I was resistant at first.  Then I started looking around and saw what she was trying to do, so I dove in head-on.    So, thanks, Bev, for such a great opportunity.

I've also spent some time on My Sketch World completing some of their ABC Summer Crop challenges along with My Scraps and More in their Got Talent III Challenges.  These are both great for me to get me out of any lull I have in my scrappin'.

Also, to my dear sweet friends at Chatty Scrappers at 2Peas...you will always be dear to my heart.

So, that's it for now.  Will post some pages soon.

Love to all.

Well, it's definitely been a while since I've been on here.  I had been in a scrappy slump for a little bit, and then we had our school testing, which pretty much wipes out an entire week.  Been a lot more
tired than usual too...probably just staying up way too late and not getting enough sleep.  Definitely going to try to go to bed earlier tonight...of course it's almost 11:00 now though, LOL.

I did scrap a little this week, thank goodness.  The new month always brings about new challenges and sketches, which always inspires me.

Here is the page I did for MySketchWorld's DT using Lucy's fantabulous sketch!

And here is a page I did tonight using  a LO by Monica B. for the scraplift challenge over at 2Ps Calendar Girls.  It's hard to believe that I've been scrapping with these girls for six - almost seven - years now.   They're just remarkable and I'm incredibly lucky to have them in my life...

A  customer at JoAnns has let me borrow some of her MemoryBox dies; they're really delicate, and so lovely.  So I used a couple of them on the above page.  I've really grown fond of a couple of them :)  Thanks, Jill, for entrusting me with your scrappy supplies :)

This coming weekend is NSD.  One of my favorite scrappy times.  Although I was asked by a co-worker to cover his shift Friday night, and I said yes without even thinking about the date.  So I'll
be working Friday and Saturday nights, and Sunday all day.  I may get lucky and get a page or two  done, but we'll see.

Well, guess I better go try to get a few things done before bed...

This is a quote that MyScraps&More used for a quote challenge last week, and I used it on a page, and I'm thinking of using that as a motto-type quote.  Don't know who said it.... I should probably look that up .... but it's just an amazing, and truthful, quote...

Here it is:

"Minutes are worth more than money; spend them wisely."
Is that not an amazing quote?

Anyway, good night all.

Good morning...

The weather here has been just gorgeous.   For a while there we were having a lot of rain, and the warmth of summer hit us quickly even though summer is a couple of months away...now, it's back
to chilli mornings and evenings, and perfect weather in between.  Just lovely.

Although I've scrapped a couple of pages, I also picked up an extra shift at JoAnns for a couple of
weeks, which is always good, especially with having Sunday (Easter) off.  That will hit me in a
couple of weeks.  I've also gotten caught up in reading The Hunger Games.  Fantastic story-line, and
fast paced reading.  I finished the first one, and am now reading the second one.  Once I get involved in reading a good book, it's really hard for me to put it down.  I won't mind seeing the movie now, but had to read the book first :)

Here are a couple of pages that I got done using geometric shapes.  Although hexagons are the trendy
shape right now, I used an octagon shape for one of the pages.  The other page uses hexagons.  For the hexagon I had to find the shape, print it and then cut and trace.  For the octagon, I actually have a die
for that one.  Thank goodness for dies :)

Well, I'm off to begin another week of school.  Our testing is in a couple of weeks, so it's  review, review and review.  Hopefully, with all this reviewing, the kids will remember what they're doing come test time.

Hello my name is toni. I am so excited to part of the team as a Layout Designer.

I live in East Tennessee with my husband, Larry, and two of my children; Kevin and Meagan.  I've been scrapping for quite a while now.  I love the whole process,
and I love that I'm documenting our life as a family, and each of us individually.

Here is the April 1st sketch from My Sketch World:

Here is my example using the sketch:

Thanks for being here and now its time to head to Ginni's Blog   http://ginniscrappyworld.blogspot.com/  and check out her super cute creation.
